Varsity Assistant Lacrosse Coach

Coaching and training: Assist with planning and running practices, teaching and refining individual skills and team strategies. Game-day support: Help with game-day preparation, including scouting opponents, and provide in-game support to the head coach. Athlete development: Support the overall development of student-athletes, focusing on physical health, academic excellence, and personal conduct. Logistics: Help manage team functions like scheduling, transportation, and equipment inventory. Required skills and qualifications Sport knowledge: A strong understanding of lacrosse rules, techniques, and strategies is essential. Experience: Previous lacrosse coaching or playing experience is preferred. Compliance: Knowledge of NJSIAA rules Additional responsibilities Monitor student-athlete well-being, both mentally and physically. Maintain records of team and individual accomplishments. Perform administrative tasks and other duties as assigned by the head coach or athletic director. Participate in camps, clinics, and community outreach events.
