The Day Matron will help set the standard for cleanliness, organization, and guest experience from day one. This position is essential to creating a welcoming, polished, and professional environment for employees, clients, and visitors.Key ResponsibilitiesRestroom Care & CleanlinessMaintain restrooms in pristine condition throughout operating hoursPerform routine cleaning, restocking of supplies, and spot checksAddress spills or cleanliness issues promptly to ensure guest comfort and safetyMust be able to service gender-specific restroom facilities in compliance with privacy standardsFloor & Surface MaintenanceKeep all floors clean, polished, and free of debrisMonitor high-traffic areas and address issues as they ariseGlass & Detail CleaningRegularly monitor and clean glass surfaces to remove fingerprints, smudges, and marksEnsure mirrors, glass walls, and doors remain presentation-ready at all timesMeeting & Event SupportClean and reset meeting rooms and event spaces before and after useRespond quickly to turnover needs during events or back-to-back meetingsEnsure spaces are tidy, welcoming, and ready for the next useExperience Center SupportMaintain an elevated standard of appearance consistent with a showcase environmentAct as a visible steward of cleanliness and professionalism within the spaceCommunicate any maintenance concerns or supply needs to managementQualifications & SkillsAbility to clearly communicate in English with customers, colleagues, and leadershipPrevious experience in janitorial, hospitality, or facilities support preferredStrong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standardsAbility to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environmentProfessional demeanor and customer-service mindsetAbility to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical cleaning tasks throughout the shiftAbout UG2Founded in 2012, UG2 is privately held and headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts.
