As our new Automation Field Technician, you will work independently or with other engineers to configure, commission, and troubleshoot VFD's, PLC's, and HMI software for industrial controls, water, and wastewater projects.Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:Commission, troubleshoot, and modify PLC based control systems.Configure, calibrate, and commission instrumentation and analytical equipmentConfigure, commission, and troubleshoot Variable Frequency Drives and other motor control circuitsRead and modify/update control, electrical, and P&ID drawings.Perform modifications to existing control systemsTroubleshoot analog and digital circuits with the ability to troubleshoot to a device level with or without drawings and documentation.Configure, modify, and troubleshoot Operator Interface Terminals (OITs).Troubleshoot and modify SCADA software with remote assistance from controls engineers.Travel domestically up to 80%Your starting point for constant growthFrom the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you grow with the company.
