Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive evaluations of the patient's speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' specific needs and communication goals.Provide therapy for speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders using evidence-based practices.Educate patients and their families on communication strategies, speech exercises, and techniques for safe swallowing.Document patient progress and communicate effectively with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals.Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to ensure coordinated and effective care.
