From golf and cornhole tournaments to family events and unforgettable holiday parties, our culture is all about celebrating wins, taking care of our people, and building team camaraderie.Get a closer look at what sets the Haas Group apart: Life at HME - HME IncPosition Description**This position is for the Dallas, TX & Overland Park, KS office only**Manage and assist in hiring, training, and mentoring the estimating team within the regionDevelop and oversee bid schedules to ensure timely submission of competitive proposalsFostering relationships with general contractors, trade partners and vendorsAssist in developing bid strategies to improve success ratesCreate budget proposals using historical dataOversee the preparation of formal bids using Tekla Powerfab and BluebeamConduct thorough reviews of bids before submission to ensure accuracyCollaborate with operations to provide constructability and coordination reviews of the project documentsReports to Chief Estimating Manager Position RequirementsAt least 10 years of experience in construction estimating and managing people required. Steel estimating preferred, but not required.Proven ability to lead a project team and oversight requiredProficiency in identifying and mitigating risks for project estimates requiredStrong understanding of structural steel and miscellaneous metals preferredAbility to read and interpret contract drawings and specifications requiredExcellent verbal and written communication skills requiredAnalytical and problem-solving skills requiredExcellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment requiredEqual Opportunity Employer
