Job Title: Java Backend Developer
Location: Spring, TX, USA- Onsite
Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, debug and create microservices.· Co-work on features with remote teams.· Deploy and deliver using CI/CD pipelines.· Engage with product management to understand the product requirements and create technical specs.· Produce high-level and low-level designs which include component diagrams, sequence diagrams, technology choices, API specs, Database schemas.· Do periodic code reviews with scrum teams and make sure that the right product is being built.· Do regular security reviews and design reviews of the peer. Leadership:· Must be transparent and have a growth mindset.· Great communication skills.· Must be open-minded, collaborative and drive by influence.· Ability to obtain information from Product Owners and break down the problem into smaller tasks.· Must demonstrate ownership of the projects they work on.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in building scalable cloud-native applications.· Proficient in AWS tech stack.· Bachelor or master’s in computer science or related fields.· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.· Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English· Must be able to contribute to design and code reviews and help other team members in troubleshooting/problem-solving.· Knowledgeable of application performance and resource consumption optimization.· Ability to simplify complex and abstract issues. Must have Skills:· Java, Springboot, JPA, REST, Microservices· Webservices and web-frameworks· Database – SQL/No SQL· AWS core constructs – KMS, Queues, Notification services, Cache, Cloud watch· APM tools like DataDogGood to have:· Golang, React, Oauth· Exposure to IaaS and Terraform
