Patient Advocates require expertise and customer service skills to promote an outstanding patient experience. Shift: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm (CST)ResponsibilitiesWelcome and on-board all new specialty infusion referralsBuild rapport and establish trust with specialty patients and caregivers Notifies patients/families regarding coverage and payment responsibilities Conduct routine check-ins with patients during the onboarding processing Collects needed information from patients and/or caregivers including patient insurance and medication profiles Collaborates with Intake and Pharmacy staff to schedule visits and orders Manage patient retention by ensuring all reasonable interventions are executed to retain a patient on serviceQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED Minimum of two (2) years of experience in healthcare customer service Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is preferredAbout our Line of BusinessAmerita, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, is a specialty infusion company focused on providing complex pharmaceutical products and clinical services to patients outside of the hospital.
