Information Technology Infrastructure Manager
Manager, IT InfrastructurePosition Summary:Our client, a leading player in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) / Process Manufacturing industry, is seeking a Manager, IT Infrastructure. This is a hands-on technical leader responsible for the day-to-day delivery, support, administration, and continuous improvement of end-user computing and core infrastructure services across the organization. This role actively participates in the management, troubleshooting, and optimization of enterprise systems, including servers, networks, cloud platforms, endpoint technologies, collaboration tools, and remote access solutions, while also leading a team of support and engineering professionals.The Manager oversees IT operations across local and remote environments, ensuring systems are secure, reliable, scalable, and aligned with business requirements. This position works closely with internal stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues, implement infrastructure enhancements, manage operational priorities, and maintain high service levels.Key ResponsibilitiesDirect involvement in infrastructure planning, technical escalations, system performance monitoring, patching, upgrades, automation initiatives, and operational support activities. Drives service excellence through hands-on problem solving, process improvement, operational standards, and the development of a high-performing technical team.Oversee support for enterprise technologies including end-user computing, Microsoft environments, virtualization, networking, storage, backup, and related infrastructure platforms. Manage escalated technical issues and coordinate resolution of complex incidents affecting business operations. Partner with IT leadership and business stakeholders to prioritize initiatives, support operational needs, and improve user experience. Support planning and execution of infrastructure upgrades, implementations, system enhancements, and technology refresh initiatives. Participate in budget planning, asset management, capacity planning, and operational forecasting activities. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, customer service, and continuous improvement within the IT organization. Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related discipline; equivalent professional experience may be considered. Minimum 7–15 years of progressive experience in enterprise infrastructure, cloud architecture, cybersecurity, systems administration, and network engineering. Demonstrated expertise designing, implementing, securing, and supporting large-scale enterprise IT environments across hybrid cloud, virtualization, networking, and Microsoft ecosystems. Strong experience with enterprise architecture, operational governance, automation, identity management, and security operations. Proven ability to lead technical initiatives, perform complex troubleshooting, and provide strategic technical guidance across cross-functional teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting technical solutions to executive leadership and stakeholders.
