OB/GYN Core Faculty & Research Advisor-Clinical Practice in Obstetrics &Gynecology | NO NIGHT CALL

Job Overview Full-Scale OB/GYN | NO NIGHT CALL | Community-Based Teaching Role. Lakeland Regional Health is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible OB/GYN to join our growing women’s health team as Core Faculty & Research Advisor. This hospital-employed role supports a stable employment model with strong administrative partnership and allows physicians to practice full-scale OB/GYN while helping support research and scholarly activity for a new community-based OB/GYN Residency Program anticipated to launch Summer 2027. The position eliminates night call, offers shared day-time in-hospital call rotation, and provides protected time for scholarly activities, education, and clinical practice that can be tailored to individual interests. Responsibilities Collaborate with the Program Director to ensure ACGME requirements for Scholarly Activity are achieved. Support faculty, resident, and student scholarly activity and assist with quality improvement, outcomes research, and clinical inquiry projects that are practical, achievable, and well supported. Partner with the Department of Research & Sponsored Studies to guide project development, implementation, and completion. Contribute to program operations and compliance efforts through committee involvement, evaluation processes, faculty development activities, and recruitment. Teach and mentor OB/GYN residents and medical students in clinical settings. Support a positive, hands-on learning environment grounded in community-based practice. Co-manage complex surgical and obstetric cases. Participate in shared day-time in-hospital call rotation (NO NIGHT CALL). Leverage a physician-centered administrative structure and tailor clinical practice mix in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Qualifications Board-certified or board-eligible through ABMS or AOA with current Florida medical license or ability to obtain one. Prefer a primarily clinical OB/GYN practice. Enjoy working with residents and medical students as part of daily clinical care in the OB/GYN Residency Program launching Summer 2027. Appreciate a community-based, team-oriented practice model.
