OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in various medical settings, including but not limited to, hospitals, clinics, and specialty practices. This position requires a strong commitment to patient health, adherence to medical standards, and the ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.DutiesConduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations.Perform medication administration and manage treatment plans under physician supervision.Assist in medical-surgical procedures and provide pre-operative and post-operative care.Triage patients effectively to prioritize care based on urgency.Administer basic life support when necessary and respond promptly to emergencies.Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.Provide care for senior patients, addressing their unique health needs.Perform phlebotomy procedures for laboratory testing as required.Participate in the management of patients at a Level I Trauma Center, ensuring timely interventions.Conduct spinal taps when indicated, following established protocols.SkillsStrong understanding of medical standards and best practices in patient care.Proficiency in medication administration techniques and protocols.Experience or training in medical-surgical environments is preferred.Excellent triage skills to assess patient conditions accurately.Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is a plus.Familiarity with medical imaging technologies and their applications in patient care.Experience working with senior care populations is advantageous.Ability to perform phlebotomy with precision and care.Knowledge of trauma care principles applicable within a Level I Trauma Center setting.Competence in performing spinal taps with adherence to safety standards.Join our team as a Physician Assistant where you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient health outcomes while working within a supportive environment that values professional growth and collaboration.Job Type: Full-timePay: $125,000.00 - $145,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceFlexible scheduleHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceWork Location: In person
