R&D Scientist Location: Temecula, CA 92590 Job Type: Contract (6 Months) Schedule: Day 5x8-Hour (Monday to Friday (8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.) Pay Rate: $40–$45/hour (Depending on Experience) Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated R&D Scientist to join an innovative research and development team supporting new product development and technology scale-up. This role will focus on drug delivery technologies, assay development, prototype validation, and analytical characterization while working in a collaborative laboratory environment. This is a contract opportunity covering a leave of absence for approximately six months. Responsibilities Contribute to new product development and process scale-up activities. Develop and characterize drug conjugates using advanced laboratory techniques. Design, develop, and optimize analytical assays. Validate technical prototypes and perform routine analytical testing. Analyze experimental data and document research findings. Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and laboratory safety standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and launches. Assist with innovation projects related to drug discovery and formulation technologies. Required Qualifications Ph.D. in Biomaterials, Chemistry, Chemical Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related scientific discipline. Expert-level proficiency with HPLC. Hands-on experience with: Cell Culture Cell & Biochemical Assays Flow Cytometry Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS) Western Blot Experience with drug conjugate synthesis and characterization. Strong knowledge of immunology and chemical biology. Ability to validate technical prototypes and perform analytical testing. Excellent documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with peptide/protein characterization and bioassays. Experience in peptide/protein chemistry. Experience with nanoformulation development. Additional experience in chemical biology and immunology. Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour Work Location: In person
