Art Model - Redhead

Job Summary While we typically use a variety of models for our work, in this posting, we're specifically looking for REDHEADS! Yep..we simply have a shortage of redheads in our model pool, so we are reaching out to the community to find some amazing people! Our Art Models participate in classes and workshops at our Art School in Sugar Land, TX. In this role, you will model for artists to draw, paint, or sculpt. As a classroom model, you help provide artists with an opportunity to learn about human proportions, facial features, body alignment, and anatomy. This work is performed during regular classroom hours in a safe setting. Note: Again, we are looking for REDHEADS. Any applicants will be given a chance to state their preferences: clothed, nude, or both. Models will never be asked to participate in any session that makes them uncomfortable. Responsibilities Here are some skills that will be helpful for you to be successful... Must be comfortable holding poses or facial expressions to allow artists to capture the lines and contours of their face/physique. Must be comfortable changing poses, facial expressions, or gestures to display the look the artist wants. Typical sessions are 3 hrs in duration, but always broken into multiple 20-minute segments with breaks in between. The key is to sit still without moving or talking so the artists can paint what they see. Confidence is important since you will be posing in front of a group of artists who will be staring at you intently as they attempt to capture your likeness. Note: Previous art modeling experience is helpful but not required. We welcome newcomers. We are happy to provide assistance to any first-timers. We are seeking interesting individuals with positive attitudes. Models must be over 21 years old for any nude sessions. We focus on creating a fun, safe environment for our models and artists as well. Job Type: Contract Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Work Location: In person
