The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in acquisition planning, procurement lifecycle support, documentation review, and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, and a commitment to ensuring timely and accurate execution of procurement activities.Responsibilities:Collect and compile information necessary for requirements documentation to facilitate procurement planningAssemble comprehensive procurement requirements packages in accordance with established policies and proceduresVerify the availability of sufficient funds to proceed with planned procurements, ensuring compliance with budget constraintSubmit procurement requests to the government (or relevant authority) for processing and approvalMonitor and report on the status of procurements throughout the entire lifecycle, from initiation to contract awardAdhere to established Purchase Request (PR) processes, policies, and guidance in the creation and entry of PR packages into the designated IS/IT system (e.g., NERP)Monitor and communicate the progress of PRs to the Division Acquisition Lead/Member and Integrated Project Team (IPT) members, spanning from initial planning and NERP entry to contract transition and final awardUtilize available tools, including NERP reports, QLIK, SharePoint reports, and the local data store, to proactively monitor procurement progress and identify potential roadblocksCommunicate effectively with stakeholders throughout the procurement process to ensure alignment and timely resolution of issuesComply with all applicable standards of conduct, including procedures to prevent the improper disclosure of sensitive informationActively participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of procurement activitiesCommit to continuous learning and professional development to stay abreast of evolving procurement regulations and best practicesRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field, or Associate's degree with relevant experienceStrong understanding of procurement processes, policies, and regulationsExcellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlinesDetail-oriented with a high degree of accuracyStrong communication skills, both written and verbalProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint)Experience using IS/IT systems for procurement management (e.g., NERP)Ability to work independently and as part of a teamStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsSecret ClearancePreferred Qualifications:2+ years' experience working with government procurement processesExperience working within QLIKFamiliarity with MS Power PlatformSchedule: 100% onsite in Charleston, SCSalary: 80k+ to align with experience and educationApplicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled
