# SOFTWARE ENGINEERING MANAGER## About the RoleRetired.com is seeking a **Software Engineering Manager** to lead a team building the platform that powers self-directed retirement investing. This role combines hands-on technical leadership with people management, requiring strong engineering judgment, team leadership, and the ability to partner effectively with Product, Design, and Engineering leadership.You’ll lead a team of 4–6 software engineers, guide technical and architectural decisions, oversee production reliability, and help the team deliver secure, scalable, cloud-native software.
