Responsibilities include designing solutions that deliver financial value to customers, demonstrating an understanding of customer business, providing feasible and sustainable designs aligned with customer needs, helping shape win plans, writing compelling proposals, and supporting awarded business through startup.Job Description The Manager, Solutions Design is aligned by industry verticals or design discipline, manages new business pursuit teams and individual opportunities, and may lead or mentor SD team members.ResponsibilitiesDesign solutions that deliver financial value to customers.Demonstrate understanding of customer business.Provide feasible designs aligned with customer needs.Help pursuit team shape win plans consistent with solution design.Provide sustainable designs aligned with Ryder's operational & technical capabilities.Write and deliver compelling proposals influencing the customer decision to select Ryder.Support awarded business through startup process, transitioning design and proposal assumptions to Operations and SCE CI resources.Manage a subset of SD team members or act as independent contributor specializing in select design disciplines or industry solutions.Mentor & advise SD team members on modeling and design techniques.Act as a solution design specialist across one or more disciplines.Effectively communicate design and solution to internal stakeholders & client.Use advanced analytical techniques and concepts to understand the business.Essential FunctionsProject Management: manage cross‐functional teams, create and manage project milestones, schedule and lead team calls, maintain communication, and deliver team deliverables.Meet frequently with customers and cross‐functional bid response team;
