This role reports directly to the Founder and works closely with leadership to support financial strategy and operational decision-making.If you enjoy building financial infrastructure inside a growing company, love working with leadership on strategic decisions, and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, this role offers real ownership and impact.What You'll DoFinancial ManagementMaintain accurate bookkeeping across company accountsPrepare and manage monthly P&L statementsMonitor cash flow, runway, and financial healthBuild financial forecasts and scenario planning modelsAssist leadership with budget planning and budget vs. actual reportingCreate financial dashboards and KPI reportingIdentify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiencyAccounting OperationsManage invoicing, collections, and payment trackingOversee accounts payable and receivableReconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and financial systemsMaintain financial documentation and internal controlsCoordinate with external accountants for tax preparationStrategic Finance SupportHelp leadership evaluate new hires, investments, and major expensesSupport annual planning and forecasting cyclesAssist with long-term financial planningBuild financial models that support business decision-makingAssist in long term, sell-side readinessHR & Payroll CoordinationManage payroll coordinationAssist with benefits administrationSupport compensation planning with leadershipTrack PTO, employee status, and HR systems (ADP)Operations & SystemsImprove financial systems, reporting, and automationMaintain internal finance and HR processesCoordinate budgets with department leadsAssist with vendor payments and contract managementForecast and track total budgets for events, travel, and client workQualifications3–6+ years experience in finance, accounting, or operationsExperience with bookkeeping and financial reportingComfortable managing P&Ls, forecasting, and financial modelsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExperience with accounting tools (QuickBooks, Wise, or similar)Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environmentExperience supporting HR operations is a plusComfortable and knowledgeable on AICPA (Preferred)CPA strongly favored but not requiredCPA or progress toward CPA is a strong plusCompany may support CPA licensing through compensation increases or bonusesWork StructureFirst 90 Days – Probationary PeriodIn-office Monday–ThursdayAfter 90 Days (Upon Successful Review)Full benefits eligibilityHybrid schedule:Work from home Tuesday & FridayIn-office Monday, Wednesday, ThursdayWhy You’ll Love Working HereWe’re a small team that values creativity, speed, and collaboration.
