Application Instructions Select Apply and follow prompts Position Description As an EHS I (Environmental, Health, and Safety Specialist), you will play a pivotal role in fostering a safe and compliant workplace. You'll be at the forefront of implementing safety programs, ensuring adherence to regulations, and promoting a culture of health and safety across the organization. Your expertise will help protect our employees and the environment while driving continuous improvement in our EHS practices. What you'll doDevelop and implement EHS policies and procedures to align with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards.Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) regulations.Facilitate training sessions on first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), occupational health, and safety protocols for employees.Investigate incidents to determine root causes, prepare detailed reports, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.Manage workers' compensation claims in accordance with workers' compensation law, ensuring timely reporting and resolution.Collaborate with management to promote a proactive approach to safety through ongoing training and development initiatives.Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, incident reports, and compliance documentation. Position Requirements Basic qualificationsBachelor's degreeStrong understanding of EHS regulations including OSHA standards and EPA guidelines.Proficiency in report writing to document findings clearly and effectively. Preferred qualificationsExperience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on EHS practices.Familiarity with root cause analysis techniques for incident investigation.Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
