Responsibilities include providing compassionate end-of-life care to pets, consulting with pet owners regarding care and options, ensuring medical standards are followed, and completing necessary documentation. The Veterinarian will communicate empathetically and maintain professionalism while traveling to clients' homes to perform the service.QualificationsA Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree and appropriate state licensureStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide compassionate care and comfort to pet ownersExperience in euthanasia procedures, along with knowledge and application of ethical considerationsProficiency in completing necessary medical documentation accurately and promptlyAbility to work independently, manage time efficiently, and travel to client locationsValid driver's license and reliable transportationCommitment to professionalism, respect, and ethical treatment of animalsThe ability to remain calm and composed in emotionally charged situations
