This role is ideal for a motivated engineering professional who is excited to work on complex, high-impact projects that support the core operations of clients in highly regulated industries, including pharmaceutical and advanced manufacturing facilities .The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the technical quality and schedule performance of assigned engineering tasks, working closely with clients, discipline leads, and multi-disciplinary project teams. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to technically challenging projects while mentoring junior engineers and designers and supporting on-site activities during system startup and commissioning.Key ResponsibilitiesExecute electrical engineering design tasks while maintaining schedule, budget, and technical quality expectationsDevelop electrical system designs for building and facility projects, including:Medium- and low-voltage power distributionUPS and generator systemsInterior and exterior lightingGrounding and bondingFire alarm systemsSecurity systemsPublic Address (PA) systemsTelecommunications systemsHeat trace systemsCoordinate work activities with discipline leads, project managers, and other engineering staffGain familiarity with client requirements, project scope, budgets, and schedules to support successful project deliveryProvide on-site engineering support during construction, startup, and commissioning activities as requiredReview and contribute to design documentation, calculations, drawings, and specificationsMentor and support the professional development of junior engineers and designersCollaborate effectively within a highly interactive, multi-disciplinary project teamRequired QualificationsBachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering TechnologyMinimum of 10 years of experience in the engineering design of building electrical systemsSolid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code)Experience delivering projects collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teamsWorking knowledge of AutoCAD and RevitStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritiesPreferred QualificationsProfessional Engineering (PE) license or demonstrated path toward licensurePrevious experience leading or mentoring electrical engineers and designersStrong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesForward-thinking mindset with a desire to learn best practices and contribute innovative ideasAbility to learn quickly and continuously broaden technical knowledgeProven ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and disciplinesPassion for buildings, construction, and high-quality engineering designAspen Technical StaffingCELEBRATING 25 YEARS~2001-2026~We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
