Job OverviewWelcome to Oak Meadows, located in beautiful Oakdale, MN! From our spectacular senior living campus to our dedicated staff, we are committed to delivering excellent care, engaging activities, and a strong community for our elderly assisted living/memory care residents.This is a casual role!This position is responsible for driving the bus/van for purposes of providing and addressing transportation needs of the SNF/AL Community, individual, and group transportation.ResponsibilitiesProductivity and InitiativeCompletes transportation routes and duties in a timely manner.Maintains a log of transportation services and tasks performed throughout the driving period.Organizes work assignments.Modifies schedule to accommodate the need of passengers.Ensures compliance with all requirements pertaining to operation of special transportation vehicle.Communicates with supervisor about needed equipment and supplies.DependabilityProvides supervisor with adequate notification of schedule difficulties.Follows policies and procedures of Ebenezer and state and federal rules and regulations.Functions effectively with limited direct supervision.Safety and HealthIs responsible for the safety and welfare of passengers.Practices sound, safe judgment when performing transportation services.Knows and practices infection control procedures.Knows and practices fire and disaster procedures.Knows and practices safety procedures.Recognizes and acts appropriately on safety hazards and incidents.Responds appropriately to emergency situations.Participant/Resident CareDisplays knowledge and understanding of participant and resident rights.Provides assistance to all participants and residents, as needed.Required Qualificationsless than 1 yearDrivers License (in good standing)Medical Exam CertificationMust be at least 18-years oldMust be insurable under the employers Auto Insurance CoverageMust complete and pass in-house transportation curriculum course and pass driving evaluation. within 30 DaysPreferred Qualifications1 yearBenefit OverviewEbenezer offers a generous benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, PTO and Sick and Safe Time, tuition reimbursement, retirement, early access to earned wages, and more!
