Business Development Manager – Controversy
A leading law firm is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to support its Controversy practice groups. This role will lead both strategic and day-to-day marketing and business development initiatives, working closely with attorneys and firm leadership to drive client development, enhance visibility, and support practice growth.Key ResponsibilitiesLead business development strategy for controversy practice groupsManage RFPs, proposals, and client presentationsConduct market research and competitive intelligenceSupport attorney coaching and practice group initiativesOversee awards submissions, PR efforts, and advertising opportunitiesMaintain and update marketing materials (bios, practice descriptions)Collaborate across teams to align with firmwide marketing strategyQualificationsBachelor's degree required (Marketing, Communications, or related field)6+ years of business development/marketing experience in a law firm, AEC, or professional services environmentStrong experience with proposals, client development, and strategic planningExcellent communication, organization, and project management skills?
