Prototype Assembler Level 3Our client, a Manufacturing Conglomerate company, is looking for a Prototype Assembler Level 3 for their Houston, TX location.Responsibilities:Reads work orders, follows production drawings and sample assemblies or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.Lays out diagram for electrical installations according to wiring specifications.Drills and taps holes in specified locations for mounting control units.Attaches breakers, relays, contactors, bus bars, transformers, plugging devices, fuse blocks and others to mounting holes with bolts and screws.Cuts, strips, bends, and mounts wires to connect electrical units.Inspects and tests completed electrical assemblies as required.Boxes or bags products as required.Affixes labels to product.Insures completeness of paperwork.Forwards completed orders to shipping department.Discusses errors in diagrams or production order with supervisor or engineer to clarify assembly issuesOther duties as assigned by the Production ManagerRequirements:Client will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
