Med Device Operational Excellence LeaderLocation: Philadelphia, PA (Hybrid 3x a week) Duration: 12 Months Contract W/ ExtensionsBusiness Operational Excellence LeaderThe Business Operational Excellence Leader is a new position that will lead the strategy, planning and implementation of continuous improvement and operational excellence across the end-to-end operations of the Line of Business (LoB), including production facilities, supply chain operations and contract manufacturing.The role is a key member of the Integrated Operations Leader's (IOL) leadership team and is focused on ensuring sustainable delivery of the LoB's Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory and Productivity (SQDIP) goals.The position also has responsibility to build the organizations continuous improvement capabilities and culture.This role collaborates with the IOL, Plant Leaders, Continuous Improvement Leads, Functional leaders and COE's to maintain and prioritize improvement opportunities for the line of business.Dedicated Site Continuous Improvement (CI) leads will report to the Plant/Unit Manager with a dotted line to the Business OpEx Leader. This role will report to the IOL with a dotted line to the Vice President, Operational Excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesValues and drives our Core Values (Safety and Health, Respect for People, Highest Ethical Behavior and Protecting the Planet) and sets the example through consistent communications and behaviorsEstablishes and drives the strategic direction and initiatives for Operational Excellence for the LoB aligned to the strategic needs of the enterprise; collaborates with business and functional leaders to identify needs and build alignment.Builds sustainable process rigor to deliver on SQDIP goals for the LoBPartners with Plant, Supply Chain and Contract Manufacturing leaders to maintain a coherent, integrated roadmap and Kaizen funnel for continuous improvement across the LoBLeads the deployment of tools and best practices to drive continuous improvement and ensures implementation of operational and management standards consistent with the Business System. Uses metrics to manage performance and drive to best in class results.Builds the capabilities of LoB operations leaders and team members to identify, plan and implement continuous improvement opportunitiesCollaborates with the central Global Opex team to identify best practices and leverage subject matter expertiseSupports the IOL in leading monthly operating reviews to identify and drive improvement opportunitiesQualificationsBachelor's degree in operations / engineering-related discipline10 years of experience in Manufacturing environment including operational leadership rolesStrong proficiency with continuous improvement / operational excellence methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)Leads change and experienced with Management of Change (MoC) processesBalanced leadership in developing Strategy, driving Execution and exhibiting Inspiration. Proven ability to influence at all organizational levels and demonstrates effective communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in a diverse team environment with respectful collaboration is essential.Highly motivated problem solver capable of strategic and tactical thinking.Willingness to travel to manufacturing sites globally, with a travel expectation of ~50%.Demonstrated ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution and inspire talent at all levels.Flexible and collaborative management approach, adept at navigating complex organizational dynamics.Proven track record of delivering results
