Batch Cycle Manager

The Batch Cycle Manager will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution, monitoring, and optimization of critical enterprise batch processing. This role will lead the design and management of batch cycles, coordinate job and interface dependencies, monitor performance, and provide proactive issue resolution across cross-functional teams.The role is a key contributor to operational readiness, supporting payroll and other critical processing cycles, Go-Live activities, mock cutovers, and Disaster Recovery testing. The ideal candidate brings strong technical and analytical skills, hands-on batch scheduling experience, and the ability to coordinate effectively across technical, functional, interface, and business teams to ensure reliable and timely processing.Key responsibilities may include:Set up and conduct batch cycle calls with Internal, Client (at one point), Interface, and Functional teams and send daily meeting minutes to managementReview default batch parameters and perform tuning where requiredConduct performance reviews of batch jobsPerform daily batch cycle reviews based on generated reportsExecute end-to-end batch cycle reviewsImplement batch cycle changes via GCSProvide pre–Go Live DR testing support for batch cyclesAssist in preparation and maintenance of the Event TrackerWork with crossfunctional teams to define job status classifications(Green / Orange / Red based on return codes)Design and configure batch cycles:DailyWeeklyWeekendMonthlySetup and configuration of interface jobsCoordinate interface dependencies with batch cyclesValidate interface execution during critical cycles (payroll, monthend)Integrate batch jobs with report distribution mechanisms for BI and Source reportsConfigure and maintain report schedulersProvide enhanced scheduling support during payroll cycles and other critical runsSupport preGo Live readiness activitiesParticipate in pre-GO Live DR testing and validationPrepare Mini Batch Cycles for Mock cutovers
