Administrative Assistant, Campus Safety

Anderson University's Department of Campus Safety invites applications for a 12-month, full-time Administrative Assistant. The university seeks candidates with a strong Christian value system, lifestyle, and commitment to the integration of faith and learning.Reporting to the Director of Campus Safety, the Administrative Assistant will manage the daily operations of the Campus Safety office while creating and maintaining a warm, welcoming, and informative environment for visitors, contractors, and guests of the University. In addition to assisting with parking pass and building access inquiries, this position will manage several Campus Safety software systems including, Rave, Avigilon, and will generate reports in the Omingo Record Management System, as requested. The Administrative Assistant will serve as the primary point of contact for the Building Coordinator program and serve as the Residence Life liaison, assisting with the Campus Emergency Response Plan, including emergency drills and scenarios, and will ensure Anderson University maintains compliance with the Clery Act, collecting, monitoring, and compiling all relevant data into the Annual Safety Report. Coordinating parking reservations for on-campus events, general office duties, or additional duties may be assigned.An associate degree in office technology, or similar field, previous administrative experience and working knowledge in computer systems is required. A high level of organizational and customer service skills and the ability to effectively multi-task required.
