Support participant registration, tracking, and communication, including confirmations,reminders, and follow-ups. Maintain participant lists, attendance, and completion records. Prepare and organize session materials and shared program resources. Coordinate scheduling details, room reservations, and technology needs. Support session delivery, including setup, check-in, and participant assistance.Assist with coordination of certificate completion recognition and events.Percentage of time 40 Duties/ResponsibilitiesWorkshops, Presentations, and Program Support Assist with logistics for unit-specific workshops, presentations, and training sessions. Support the development and preparation of learning materials for workshops andpresentations, including formatting, resource compilation, and content organization. Support coordination of additional faculty and staff engagement initiatives across the Office. Prepare materials, manage attendance tracking, and maintain participation records. Coordinate scheduling and communication with participants and campus partners.Provide in-person or virtual support during sessions to ensure smooth delivery.Percentage of time 30 Duties/ResponsibilitiesData Tracking, Reporting, and Analysis Assist with collection and organization of program evaluation data, including surveys andparticipant feedback. Maintain accurate records of participation, attendance, and completion across programs. Support basic analysis of qualitative and quantitative data to identify trends. Assist in preparing summary reports and data visualizations for program assessment. Support special projects and initiatives as assigned.Percentage of time 10Position DetailsPosition InformationClassification Title Graduate Assistant FLSA Exempt UGA Job Code FTE 0.4 Minimum Qualifications Position SummaryThe Graduate Assistant for Faculty and Staff Engagement supports the planning, coordination, and implementation of professional learning and engagement initiatives within the Office of Academic and Community Engagement. Reporting to the Assistant Director, this position plays a key role in supporting the logistics, communications, and data tracking for a university-wide certificate program, unit-specific workshops and presentations, and additional faculty and staff engagement initiatives across the Office.This role focuses on coordination, operational support, and data-informed program tracking to ensure the effective delivery of high-quality learning experiences for faculty and staff. The Graduate Assistant will gain hands-on experience in program management, professional development initiatives, and higher education administration.Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification In Position Experience coordinating events, workshops, or programs. Interest in higher education, academic affairs, or professional development. Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar tools. Experience working with data tracking, reporting, or basic analysis. Preference for doctoral (PhD) candidates with an interest in faculty and staff development, professional learning, or higher education administration.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities And/or Competencies Strong organizational and project coordination skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Attention to detail in managing logistics and communications. Effective interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students. Ability to support event logistics and program implementation.
