Job Description: As a Part-Time Front Desk/Medical Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, playing a crucial role in creating a welcoming environment and ensuring the efficient operation of our front desk and clinical areas. This role combines administrative and clinical responsibilities, providing a diverse and engaging work experience.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Front Desk Duties:
Greet and check-in clients in a friendly and professional manner.
Manage phone calls, emails, and appointment scheduling and calling leads using our practice management software.
Verify and update patient information, including insurance details and medical histories.
Handle client inquiries and resolve issues or direct them to the appropriate staff member.
Process payments and handle billing inquiries.
Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
Assist with inventory management and ordering of office supplies.
Medical Assistant Duties:
Prepare and set up examination rooms and equipment for client procedures.
Assist with patient intake, including taking vital signs and recording medical histories.
Support practitioners during treatments and procedures as needed.
Ensure proper documentation of patient records and follow-up care.
Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
Perform routine administrative tasks such as filing and maintaining medical records.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification as a Medical Assistant is a plus.
Previous experience in a medical or wellness setting is preferred but not required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in using office software and practice management systems.
Ability to multitask and handle a variety of tasks efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
A positive attitude and commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
Work Schedule:
Part-time position; approximately 20 to 30 hours per week.
