EPMA is partnering with an established US engineering and consulting organization seeking a Workday Integration Developer to join its internal IT team.This is an opportunity to take genuine ownership of a Workday integration environment as the organization transitions responsibility from an external implementation partner to its internal team.Initially, your focus will be on owning, supporting and enhancing business-critical Workday integrations across HR, payroll, finance and other enterprise systems. As the environment matures, the role will expand into broader enterprise integrations, automation and applied AI initiatives.This is a hands-on technical position for someone who enjoys not only building integrations, but understanding how they work in production, troubleshooting problems and improving them over time.Title: Workday Integration DeveloperType: Full-TimeLocation: Full RemoteIndustry: EngineeringW2 Employment onlyExperience Required:5+ years of professional experience developing and supporting system integrations.Strong hands-on experience building and supporting Workday integrations in production.Hands-on Workday Studio development experience.Working knowledge of the broader Workday integration ecosystem, which may include EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, Workday Web Services, RaaS and XSLT.Experience taking ownership of integrations developed by others and supporting them in a live production environment.Strong troubleshooting skills with experience diagnosing integration failures across multiple systems.Hands-on experience with REST and SOAP APIs, JSON, XML and authentication technologies such as OAuth 2.0.Working proficiency with XML/XSLT and experience with at least one general-purpose programming language.Ability to communicate technical issues, risks and solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.Nice to Have:Python and/or SQL experience.Workday integration certification or formal Workday Studio training.Experience integrating payroll, benefits, ERP, identity, ITSM or learning platforms.Experience with iPaaS, serverless, workflow or CI/CD technologies.Exposure to AI agents, LLM platforms, enterprise copilots or intelligent automation.Experience working with sensitive HR, payroll or financial data.Experience within an engineering, consulting or professional-services environment.
