Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract with a client in Wawatosa, WI. This role requires strong expertise in architecting scalable pipelines while developing advanced computer vision, multi‐agent workflows, and cloud‐based AI infrastructure.Rate Range: $60/hour to $68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.Engineer job responsibilities include:* Develop end‐to‐end LLM and VLM pipelines for training, fine‐tuning, evaluation, and deployment.* Architect multi‐agent AI workflows using LangGraph, Redis, and Python to enable complex system interactions.* Build scalable real‐time inference services with FastAPI, vLLM, and AWS cloud infrastructure.* Implement advanced computer vision solutions using OpenPose, SAM2, and video‐based classification models.* Create automated evaluation frameworks leveraging LLM‐as‐a‐Judge, ROUGE‐L, and structured decoding techniques.* Deploy and maintain reproducible AI infrastructure using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform while ensuring system performance and observability.Required Qualifications:* Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related engineering field.* 6-8 years of hands‐on experience in AI/ML engineering, including LLM/VLM development and cloud‐based deployment.* Proven expertise in Python, PyTorch, and building scalable AI systems using AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform.* Strong background in multimodal ML, computer vision, and evaluation frameworks, with experience in deploying high‐performance inference services.If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
