With open hearts and open doors in Hopkinton and Framingham, MA, we’re more than a church—we’re a community where everyone is welcomed and valued.Role DescriptionThis role is for 10hrs/week.The Student Ministry Coordinator helps to oversee Student Ministry programming (Elevate) at the Framingham Campus. This role includes leading weekly programming, coordinating events, building student relationships, and helping create safe spaces where middle and high school students can grow in faith and community. Faith Community Church is intent on its mission, vision, and values. Student Ministry is one of the critical ministry centers for carrying out this mission. Our church’s stated mission is to love radically, live generously and watch Jesus do the extraordinary. We do this by developing disciples who: • Encounter Christ in Worship (ECW) • Grow in Relationship with Others (GRO) • Serve the World on Mission (SWM) • Live Generously Student Ministry supports this through our mission of partnering with parents to create safe spaces where teens can be their authentic selves, encounter God, and grow in community. Our intent is to provide a place for students and their families to experience the deep love and calling of Jesus, grow in that love and share it with the world. QualificationsThe following represents a list of essential duties and responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned as required. Work with the Director of Student Ministry to: • Implement the student ministry strategy at the specific campus to o Partner with parents of students o Guide new students and their families to accept Christ o Deepen the faith of all students and their families • Recruit, equip and nurture student ministry volunteers at the selected campus • Execute programming that supports the student ministry strategy including: o Sunday programming at the selected campus (e.g., Hangouts and worship services) o Monthly Framingham specific programming o Midweek programming for all campuses (e.g., Faith Groups, events, and Elevate Togethers) o Seasonal programming (e.g., Mission trips and service projects) • Collaborate with other ministry’s volunteers and staff as needed at the selected campus (Framingham)• Collaborate with the campus pastor of the selected campus (dotted line reporting) Other Duties and Responsibilities • Weekly meeting with the Director of Student Ministry • Monthly Student Ministry Lead Team meetings • Quarterly meetings with volunteers • Occasional all-staff meetings, staff training days Experience, Education, and Skills • A growing and personal relationship with Jesus Christ • 1–2 years of experience in student ministry, Christian leadership, or similar ministry context (volunteer or paid) • Experience leading small groups, events, or teams • Strong organizational skills and administrative abilities • Self-starter with excellent time management • Effective verbal and written communication skills with students and adults • Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, etc.) and basic design tools (e.g., Canva) • Ability to collaborate and follow through on plans with minimal supervision • Some college coursework in ministry, theology, education, or a related field is preferred but not required Core Expectations for all Faith Community Staff Members • Membership at Faith Community Church • Belief and commitment to the mission, vision, and staff values as established • Belief and commitment to the Church Bylaws • Commitment to the church’s discipleship strategy • Perform all duties independently and professionally with high integrity Winning Behaviors and Competencies • Christlike character, humility, and emotional maturity • A passion for the spiritual formation of students • Ability to lead with relational warmth and organizational excellence • Team-oriented, flexible, and mission-driven
