Job ResponsibilitiesReview and analyze title reports, commitments, and policies, identifying and resolving title issues (liens, judgments, easements, etc.).Support residential and commercial real estate transactions from contract through closing.Prepare and review closing documents, including deeds, settlement statements, affidavits, and related documentation.Coordinate closely with attorneys, lenders, underwriters, and clients to ensure smooth and timely closings.Manage pre- and post-closing processes, including file organization, recordings, and final policy issuance.Assist with title clearance and curative work, ensuring compliance with underwriting standards.Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements.Support high-volume deal flow while maintaining strong attention to detail and client service standards.3. Job Requirements6+ years of experience as a real estate or title paralegal, preferably within a law firm, title company, or real estate-focused organization.Strong experience with title review, closings, and real estate transaction workflows.Familiarity with New York real estate practices, title insurance, and underwriting guidelines.Ability to independently manage files and handle multiple transactions simultaneously.Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Experience working directly with attorneys, lenders, and clients in a transactional setting.High level of attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Proficiency with title/closing software and Microsoft Office tools.
