Our commitment to incredible quality and exceptional customer service.Role DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee our complex warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will bring with them the real world experience of a multi-model managed warehouse. This includes but is not limited to managing all aspects of inbound inventory from domestic cross docks and ocean freight. This person will be responsible for all aspects of outbound inventory shipped to our customers be it small parcel (each's), by the carton, by the pallet via UPS/FEDEX LTL carrier and FTL carrier. Our Warehouse Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of warehouse activities including but not limited to: managing Team Lead's Fork Truck Drivers, Pickers, Quality Control Associates and Material Handlers. Additionally, the above must be delivered while maintaininig our high standards of safety and work environment. This role requires strong leadership skills consumerate with someone who has dedicated their lives to the study and execution of warehouse managment in a multi-modal logistics environment. This candidate will need to be experienced and comfortable in maximizing our investment into Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and company ERP systems (Netsuite). This is not a '9-5' job, this is a salaried and bonus heavy position that will require working nights and weekends if that's what it takes to get the job done. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate. DUTIESStrong leader capable of managing a labor and equipment budget for our 200k sq. ft warehouse. Hiring, training, and ongoing management and supervision of warehouse staff. Ability to establish and maintain a work environment that allows warehouse staff to thrive across multiple work shifts. Supervise daily warehouse operations, ensuring that all activities align with company goals and standards.Manage inventory control, including receiving, storing, and shipping products accurately.Oversee budgeting processes for warehouse operations, ensuring cost-effective management of resources.Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.Coordinate logistics and transportation planning to optimize delivery schedules and minimize delays.Familiarity with effectively implementing customer routing guidelines.Monitor performance metrics related to order fulfillment and overall warehouse productivity.Conduct regular training sessions for staff on safety protocols, equipment usage, and operational procedures.Lead efforts in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and customer satisfaction.Adaptability in a fast-growing, dynamic environment.Exceptionally strong oral and written communication skills. *. Work closely with office staff, demand planning, and ocean import team to insure stable communication and teamwork for the organization. Experience 4 year College or University Degree or similar experience in a leadership role pertaining to Logistics in the Military.Warehouse management: 7 years (Required)Proven 7+ years of experience in supervising warehouse staff and managing operations effectively.Strong background in logistics, order fulfillment, ocean, rail frieght and transportation planning.Expert level familiarity with systems used for inventory management and process improvement.Demonstrated ability in budgeting and managing profit-loss statements related to warehouse activities.Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement methodologies. *.
