DescriptionPosition Title: Quality Assurance TechnicianDepartment: QualityReports to: Quality ManagerFLSA Status: Non-ExemptPosition SummaryThe Quality Assurance Technician inspects products at different phases in their development to ensure they meet a set of consistent standards. Their duties include performing visual inspections, recording quality issues and planning processes to decrease the instance of defects in products.Essential Duties & Responsibilities Evaluates products and identifies defects according to company specifications and standards Performs pressure testing on all bed hydraulic lines Inspects paint quality and flags for rework when necessary Fills out quality inspection documents where required Fills out pacing boards and identifies flow interrupters Improves current standards by working with internal customers Keeps a clean workplace using 5S and lean methodologies Live by our Core Values:Authentic – We speak the truthDriven – We are self-startersHumble – We lead by servingTrustworthy – We depend on each other Has a safety mindset in ALL activities you do Basic knowledge of manufacturing practices Be detail oriented and highly accurate Ability to read, write, and follow instructions and specifications Great verbal communication skills (works well with others) Can work independently and takes initiative with minimal supervision Receptive to new procedures and standards as set forth by plant leadership Perform other duties as assignedPhysical Requirements Ability to stand for hours at a time and lift 50+ lbs.
