Exceptional benefits package, 401K Plan, Family Atmosphere, and plenty room for growth!\nHere is how YOU would help benefit the team:\nThe Welder will weld, cut, and braze metal pieces and products by using flame-cutting and hand welding equipment.\nDuties/Responsibilities:\n\nPlans details of work order procedures; gathers required tools and materials based on instructions and specifications provided for the job.\nRepairs and fabricates various items and equipment using cutting, burning, and welding techniques and equipment.\nMonitors the welding, burning, and fitting process to ensure parts are not overheated or damaged by warping, distortion, expansion, or shrinkage.\nPrepares, assembles, and tacks weld parts and surfaces to be welded.\nMaintains, organizes, and cleans equipment and the work area.\nNotifies supervisor when faulty equipment or defective materials are discovered.\nPerforms other related duties as assigned.\n\nRequired Skills/Abilities: \n\nThorough understanding of machines and tools used in welding including designs, uses, maintenance and repair.\nBasic understanding of design techniques, principles, and tools necessary for the precise production of technical plans, drawings, models and blueprints.\nExcellent ability to read and listen to assignments given in a variety of forms.\nBasic understanding of mathematics as related to welding assignments.\nA demonstration weld test will be conducted\n\nEducation and Experience:\n\nTwo (2) years' experience in fabrication and welding.\nMust be able to read and interpret blueprints\nMust be experienced in PVF (pipe, valve and fitting)\n\nMust be experienced welding and fitting cut pipe, flanges, ports, drains and other attachments\nMust be experienced with face-to-face mating requirements\nMust be experienced with setup, positioning and angular measurements\n\nPhysical Requirements: \n\nMust be able to weld components that are vertical, flat, or overhead.\nMust have enough manual dexterity and stability as required for precision work.\nMust be able to see details at close range.\nMust be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.\n
