Manager, Fabrication
DescriptionNew England Machinery is seeking a talented and passionate person to lead our Fabrication team in Bradenton, Florida. The Fabrication Manager is responsible for the performance and output of machining, welding, and fabrication operations supporting machine builds, rebuilds, and service requirements. This role owns throughput, capacity planning, and quality of fabricated parts, ensuring production targets are consistently achieved. Reporting directly to the VP/General Manager, this position leads fabrication operations, controls labor and resource allocation, and ensures the organization consistently delivers complete, accurate parts on time while maintaining safety and quality standards. This role is a key part of the NEM leadership team, participating in strategy sessions and executing on business plans. LI-MM1RequirementsThis role requires a blend of experience- from an understanding of how fabrication of custom parts is performed and the tools required, to the ability to lead people effectively with care for their safety and wellbeing, and the forethought to be able to plan and forecast workload, capacity, and staffing levels. Ideal candidates will specifically possess the following qualifications:Prior leadership experience within a production environmentDemonstrated ability to develop and execute capacity plans using labor and equipment inputsExperience making staffing, overtime, and sourcing decisions to meet production demand and timelineAbility to read, interpret, and explain engineering drawings and specificationsHands on CNC Programming/Machining experience is preferredExperience working in an ERP environment, NetSuite preferred
