Service Captain

Service Captains sought by The Chanler, Inc, d/b/a The Chanler at Cliff Walk in Newport RI to perform the following duties:Bartending skills including preparing cocktails utilizing the appropriate service standards.Influence, offer recommendations and upsell food and beverage items utilizing established service standards.Delegates and performs pre- and post-shift side work, stock service station, sets table properly, etc.Ensures the quality, standards, and expectations of our guests.Remains calm and professional in high-level pressured situations.Displays leadership and exemplifies excellent guest focus in a calm and professional manner.Ensures corrective action is taken to continuously improve five-star service.Identifies the developmental needs of the team and coaches, mentors, or trains them to improve knowledge and skills.Manages the team by encouraging a team atmosphere and problem solving with guest relations.Other duties as assigned by Management.Job Requirements: 2 years of serving and/or bartending experience.6 months of experience must include:Five-Star Fine Dining service experience.Taking food and beverage orders accurately, communicating them to the kitchen staff, and ensuring timely delivery.Handling customer complaints effectively, finding solutions to address issues, and ensuring guest satisfaction.Monitoring food and beverage presentation, ensuring compliance with service standards.Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while leading the team.Menu upsell skills.Salary: $57, 491.00 per year Contact: To apply, visit www.thechanler.com
