Plant Manager

We are partnering with awell-established dairy manufacturer, backed by a global organization , to identify aPlant Managerto lead a single-site operation in Connecticut. This is ahigh-impact leadership role reporting directly to the President , with full responsibility for plant performance and a critical voice in the companys continuedgrowth, innovation, and operational investment . The facility operates withmultiple production lines (automated and manual)and a team of approximately100 employees . This role requires ahands-on, floor-oriented leaderwith deep expertise incheese productionsomeone who understands the process end-to-end and is comfortable stepping in to support operations when needed. Key Responsibilities Lead all aspects of plant operations, includingproduction, maintenance, and warehousing Drivesafety, quality, throughput, and yield performanceacross multiple production lines Act as aplayer-coach , actively engaging on the floor and supporting teams in real time Oversee and develop a team of ~100 employees across production and related functions Partner cross-functionally to ensureconsistent product quality and food safety standards Support and help executecapital investment projects (CAPEX)tied to equipment and process improvements Monitor and managematerial usage, labor, and operational coststo maintain strong margins Identify opportunities to improveefficiency, uptime, and process consistencyacross both automated and manual operations Qualifications Proven leadership experience incheese manufacturing Deep understanding ofcheese-making processes(cultures, yield, quality, and production flow) Experience managingmulti-line production environmentswith both automated and manual processes Hands-on leadership style comfortable beingon the floor and in the operation daily Strong operational and financial acumen, includingcost control and margin management Experience supporting or leadingequipment upgrades and capital projects Track record of building teams, driving accountability, and improving plant performance Why This Role Reports directly to the Presidentwith significant visibility and influence Backed by alarge global organizationwith ongoing investment in the business Opportunity to play a key role inscaling operations and supporting brand growth Environment where leadership is expected to behands-on, decisive, and close to the operation Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary + bonus Medical, Dental, Vision 401(k) Paid Time Off
