This role is responsible for weighing and processing incoming loads, handling customer transactions, monitoring site safety, and performing administrative support duties within the scale house environment.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working in an industrial environment, and able to provide strong customer service while maintaining safety and operational standards.Key ResponsibilitiesGreet customers and direct incoming traffic throughout the facilityAccurately calculate and process customer paymentsInspect incoming loads to ensure materials comply with site regulations and safety standardsMonitor customer and employee adherence to PPE and safety requirementsMaintain cleanliness and organization of the scale house areaComplete filing, reporting, and other administrative tasksPerform data entry and basic customer service support dutiesCommunicate operational issues or concerns to leadership promptlyAttend required company trainings and meetingsSupport additional duties and overtime needs as assignedQualificationsRequiredHigh school diploma or GED0–4 years of related experienceBasic computer and data entry skillsStrong communication and customer service abilitiesAbility to work in an industrial/outdoor environmentPreferredPrevious scale house, cashiering, dispatching, logistics, warehouse, or administrative support experienceExperience handling payments or transaction processingFamiliarity with safety procedures and PPE requirementsWork EnvironmentCombination of office/scale house and outdoor work environmentExposure to dirt, odors, noise, weather conditions, and industrial surroundingsOccasional lifting up to 30 poundsFrequent keyboarding and administrative workMay occasionally encounter physical occupational hazards common to industrial environmentsAdditional InformationOvertime may be required based on business needsThis is a confidential searchCandidates must demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and a strong safety mindset throughout the hiring process
