Security Command Center Analyst – Mount Laurel, NJ 08054
Location: Mt. Laurel, NJ
Requirements:
Open availability (rotating days off, including weekends)
New Jersey SORA license required
1–2 years CCTV/Control Room Security Experience
Microsoft Office skills required (Excel, PowerPoint)
Schedule 1: First Shift, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
Schedule 2: Second Shift, 4:00 PM-12:30 AM
Schedule 3: Third Shift, 12:00 AM-8:30 AM
Compensation: $23.00 per hour
About the Job
Prioritizes excellent customer service.
Monitors for and identifies threats, trends, and incidents that could negatively impact security of client personnel, facilities, operations, and reputation.
Responsible for detailed report writing that includes a general understanding of critical incident escalation.
Handles sensitive and confidential information with limited supervision.
Consults with all risk functions in development and documentation of policies, procedures, and controls.
Coordinates security guards and paid police details as needed.
Actively monitors and facilitates security‑related incidents.
Assesses threats based on incoming data and makes decisions based on findings.
Participates in Physical Security projects including technology, employee photo identification, card access, video monitoring, and retrieval.
Monitors access control systems and responds to alarms, breaches, or malfunctions.
Responds to security operations notifications and requests from internal and external parties.
Liaises with emergency medical services, fire department, and law enforcement during emergencies.
Supports onsite contract security staff.
Conducts open‑source research to answer specific questions and develops intelligence products.
Your Background
You hold a Bachelor's or an associate's degree with progressive experience preferred.
You have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC), central station monitoring operations, or equivalent.
You can successfully pass an extensive screening process.
You have shift work experience in a 24‑hour operation.
You have an active New Jersey SORA license.
Security, military, or law‑enforcement experience is an advantage.
Your Skills
Strong customer service and communication; call‑center/phone experience preferred.
Strong documentation, investigative, and report‑writing skills.
Intermediate computer skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other PC‑based programs.
Internal personal presence, intellect, energy, and drive to succeed in a high‑performance environment.
Comfortable with ambiguity and working with large amounts of data.
Ability to prioritize tasks while managing competing priorities.

Physical Requirements
Occasional travel may be required.
Must be able to continuously perform multiple tasks, operate standard office equipment, and respond quickly to sounds.
Must be able to sit, stand, walk, squat, bend, reach forward, and move safely in confined spaces.
May need to lift or carry weight under 25 lbs.
Must be able to read, write, and comprehend instructions regularly.
Must apply common sense reasoning to handle problems involving standard situations.
Must solve basic mathematical problems (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
