Position SummaryThe Press operator has attention to detail, takes initiative, and enjoys the art of screen printing overall. The individual in this role thrives off of perfection, & helping problem solve. Culture Studio takes pride in the quality of every print that is produced. Every unit the press lead produces with the support of the press operator provides our clients and their fans a memory whether it’s a concert purchase, a retail must-have, or a cool t-shirt to add to the collection. It’s important to have that at the top of your mind and let your dedication & drive do the talking. The Press Operator is a partner to the Press Lead in the daily operations of the automatic screen print machine. This press operator uses the in and out motion of their upper body to remove a garment from a pallet onto a dryer. The press operator assists in setting up the machine, surface cleaning of the machine and area, as well as quality control.Top PrioritiesSafetyQualityEfficiencies Position DutiesGo through safety training and stay compliant while operating or using machinery.One will be expected to unload printed shirts with automatic machinery.With the help of the Supervisor and Leads, it will be one's responsibility to make sure every order is printed correctly and on time, every time.Communicate effectively with team members learning the next steps to eliminate any downtime.Must make sure workstation is clean and organized every dayClean and grease press according to maintenance logs.Assist Press Lead in press setups to be done quickly, effectively, and most importantly, safely ensuring all safety guidelines are followed and importantly ensure you are communicating with the Press lead when working around the press.Operators will break down finished jobs and remove inks from screens to be done quickly, effectively, and most importantly, safely ensuring all safety guidelines are followed, importantly communicating with the Press lead when working around the press.Report all issues/errors to the Press LeadResponsible for all screens and tools ready to be returned to washout when finished. Responsible for all inks to be returned to the ink department when finished. Clean buckets are to be ready to be returned to the ink department after use.Responsible for continuous movement and aid to hitting targeted goals and never waiting, always moving to the next task to assist the Press Lead in completing the daily schedule.Capable of working in a fast-paced environment, and acting in a proactive mannerBeing Flexible in altering in position due to workflow needs of the dayWork closely with all colleagues on machinery to create a team effort / ask questions and learn to perfect your craft.
