The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic examinations in the Ultrasound department, ensuring efficiency in line with physician orders. This role involves close collaboration with patients, physicians, and interdepartmental personnel.\n\nShift Details\n\nTuesday to Friday: 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM\nSaturday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM\n40-hour work week guarantee\n\n\nWeekend Requirements\nMust be available to work every Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.\n\nJob Responsibilities\n\nComplete diagnostic studies promptly and efficiently, utilizing downtime to assist team members.\nVerify exam charges and the five-day late list on a daily basis for the ultrasound department.\nOrganize workload during peak times to enhance patient care, communicating any pending exams and relevant information to colleagues.\nAssist physicians during radiology procedures as needed.\nFoster positive relationships within the department, addressing concerns with the supervisor and representing the department positively among staff.\nMaintain inventory levels of supplies and devise new methods for their utilization.\nHandle equipment securely in accordance with established guidelines and policies, ensuring a clean and organized work area.\nParticipate in emergency call-back by adhering to the "on-call" policy.\nSupport procedures in any radiology area when required, checking in with coworkers during downtime.\nAdhere to attendance and punctuality policies.\nComply with the dress code and appearance policies.\nAttend all required hospital and departmental meetings and in-service training.\nFollow safety and infection control protocols diligently.\nPerform additional duties as assigned by supervision.\n\n\nEquipment Used\n\n3 Philips CVX Epiq machines\n1 Philips Elites Epiq machine\nVasculab ABI machine\n\n\nQualifications\n\nMinimum of 2 years of experience as a Sonographer.\nRequired experience in both Echo and Vascular procedures.\nAbility to perform Echocardiograms with Definity Contrast.\nCompetence in conducting various echocardiography and vascular studies, including TTE, TEE, stress echo, venous reflux exams, venous dopplers, carotid doppler, arterial doppler, ABI, pericardiocentesis, thrombin injections, and vein mapping exams.\nCapable of starting IVs independently.\nFamiliarity with MediTech EMR.\nActive ARDMS certification and current American Heart Association BLS certification.\n\n\nLocation\nThis opportunity is located in Batesville, AR.Modern Healthcare Solutions Job ID #36811932.
