Senior Mammography Technologist

DescriptionBecome an essential part of a patientfocused imaging team dedicated to the early detection and treatment of breast disease. This role offers the opportunity to work in a highvolume outpatient environment-either in a fixed site or mobile setting-where precision, compassion, and professionalism are at the heart of every interaction.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform a variety of radiological technical procedures specific to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in a highvolume outpatient setting, including both fixed and mobile locations.Produce highquality radiographic images while engaging with patients in a caring, supportive, and reassuring manner.Carry out all required quality control activities as mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA, either as the designated Quality Control technologist or under their direction.Depending on location, utilize general radiography skills to perform diagnostic radiology exams, conduct bone densitometry (DEXA) studies, or assist with breastrelated special procedures in collaboration with physician staff.Providence Swedish caregivers are not simply valued - they're invaluable.
