This is a high-visibility role with significant upward mobility potential, supporting over 70 applications and 4 DOS missions. This position focuses on diagnosing and resolving advanced application and data issues escalated from Tier I and Tier II teams, collaborating closely with development and other IT groups across a complex, multi-stack production environment built on .NET, Java, and Oracle platforms. The environment is evolving toward greater use of automation and data-driven tools, and the ideal candidate brings curiosity and a willingness to grow alongside it.Details:Location: Hybrid - Onsite, Arlington, VA,1 - 2 days/week and as neededJob Type: Full TimeEducation: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or EquivalentExperience: Minimum 4 years of relevant experienceClearance: Must hold an Active DoD Secret Clearance or higherResponsibilitiesMonitor production applications, scheduled jobs, and the incident management ticketing system (ServiceNow)Receive, analyze, and troubleshoot complex incidents and service requests escalated from Tier I and Tier II support teamsInvestigate application and data-related issues, determine root causes, and either resolve issues or collaborate with development and other IT teams for resolutionCollaborate with development teams by providing detailed analysis, logs, and findings that assist with root cause identification and prioritization of fixes Write and execute SQL queries to analyze tables, grants, functions, procedures, packages, and triggers using SQL and TOAD Perform backend data modifications using SQL in accordance with change management and security proceduresAssist in the creation and maintenance of Knowledge Base Articles (KBAs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve issue resolution and reduce escalation volumeSupport applications built on .NET, Java, and Oracle database platformsWork within enterprise tools, including ServiceNow, CLM, jQuery, and SharePoint Support operational reporting and analysis efforts, including basic Power BI dashboardsUtilize beginner-level scripting or automation (Python or C#) to assist with diagnostics, data handling, or operational efficiencies as appropriate Run PowerShell scripts daily for monitoring, report generation, server maintenance, and operational automation. RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fieldActive DoD Secret Clearance or higher requiredMinimum 4+ years of experience in a Tier III Application Support or Production Support Analyst roleStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex technical and process-related issues to identify root causesExperience supporting applications developed on .NET, Java, and Oracle database platformsStrong SQL scripting experience, including writing queries and performing backend data modifications using SQL and TOAD Experience with enterprise support tools, including ServiceNow, CLM, jQuery, and SharePoint Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users and collaborate effectively with development and IT teamsExperience running PowerShell scriptsPreferred QualificationsBeginner-level experience with Python scripting for basic automation, diagnostics, or data processingFamiliarity with C# applications for troubleshooting or support purposesExperience building or supporting Power BI dashboards or reportsDemonstrated interest in learning and supporting automation and AI-assisted operational workflows as the environment evolvesDANE LLC is an equal-opportunity employer.
