Production Janitor - 1st shift

Position SummaryCleans floors, dumps trash carts, move barrels of waste from production area, be able to clean a line with chemicals in the event of contamination or changeovers.Position Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesWhen product falls on floor, uses a squeegee to scrape up scrapResponsible for shoveling scrap into barrelsNeed to remove barrels from the area when half to 3⁄4 full, by loading barrels onto a skidTracking and recording of accurate waste weightsUse a palletjack to move skid with barrels to slop area for sanitation to emptyTake out trash carts full of empty boxes, plastic or other items and put into appropriate disposable containersIf not already trained, you will need to be willing to be trained on how to use and mix the different chemicals to clean a line for contamination or changeoversPerform all other duties as assignedTemperatures throughout plant average 50 degrees. Temperatures in the cooking area can exceed 80 degrees. Required to wear hairnet, smock, boots or overshoes, ear plugs, gloves, plastic sleeves, and aprons provided by the Company. Need to comply with Food Safety: GMP's SSOP, SOP, HACCP, SQF and Quality requirements.
