Possess the ability to be accurate and systematic in approach, in a fast-paced environment. DESCRIPTION: Ability to set up and program a variety of CMM machines, ranging from manual to automated. (CMM PC-DMIS and/or Calypso software, Manual Browne and Sharpe CMM) Advanced level of mechanical checks on the rock. High knowledge of inspection equipment (Caliper, Micrometer, Height gage). Programming skills are a MUST HAVE. (CMM PC-DIMS software, Manual Brown and Sharpe CMM, ZEISS, Hexagon) Works closely with shift managers to maximize workflow. Ensure Final Inspection, Outsourced and In-process parts are manufactured to Customer PO and print. Completes Shipping Inspection (Review all paperwork being sent to customer is completed, ensures customers Q-Clauses and PO requirements are being followed, ect.) Follows inspection procedure for each inspection. Follows all procedures such as signing off each step on the router. Keeping up with calibration log and calibrating employees’ and CIM inspection equipment. Generating RMA, NCR and CAR with an ERP system (E2 Shoptech). Knowledge of software not required, will train. DESCRIPTION DETAIL: Quality Control Analysis -- Conducting In-Process Inspection parts & processes to evaluate parts quality during machining. Critical Thinking -- Uses logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. Time Management -- Managing one's own time to maximize workflow of parts. Selective Attention -- The ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time without being distracted. Contribute to a team environment. Think outside the box; assist in taking the company to the next level. Work within all policies and procedures of the company. (Internal procedures, AS9100 requirements, etc.) Walking the shop floor to ensure all jobs are running per print, and all procedures are being followed. Organizes and maintains MRB cabinet. Ensures the calibration log is reviewed daily and up to date.
