Field Services Engineer

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a respected organization that partners with manufacturers across a wide range of industries, providing advanced CNC machine tool solutions backed by exceptional technical support and customer service.If you enjoy solving complex technical challenges, working independently, and helping manufacturers maximize the performance of their equipment, this role offers the opportunity to build a long-term career with an industry leader.What You'll Do:Install, commission, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC milling machines, CNC turning machines, machining centers, and related manufacturing equipment at customer facilities throughout the assigned region.Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and CNC control issues to minimize downtime and restore machine performance.Perform preventive maintenance, machine inspections, precision alignments, spindle repairs, ball screw replacements, axis support bearing replacements, and repairs to automatic tool changers and pallet systems.Read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder diagrams, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation to accurately diagnose and repair equipment.Troubleshoot Fanuc CNC controls and support customers with machine performance, operation, and technical issues.Communicate professionally with customers regarding equipment status, repair recommendations, and preventive maintenance opportunities.Complete accurate service documentation while managing service calls independently throughout the assigned territory.Represent the company with professionalism while developing strong, long-term customer relationships.Preferred Background:We're interested in experienced CNC Field Service Engineers who have built their careers supporting precision manufacturing environments and servicing CNC machine tools.Successful candidates will typically possess:A minimum of 5 years of CNC machine tool field service experienceHands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing CNC milling machines and CNC turning machinesStrong knowledge of Fanuc CNC controlsExperience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electro-mechanical systemsExperience installing, commissioning, calibrating, and maintaining CNC machine toolsThe ability to read electrical schematics, ladder logic, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawingsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independentlyExcellent communication and customer service skillsExperience supporting manufacturers within aerospace, automotive, medical device, precision machining, industrial equipment, contract manufacturing, or other metalworking environments is highly desirable.Compensation & Benefits:Competitive hourly compensation, approximately $30-$50+ per hour, based on experienceExceptional compensation available for senior-level CNC Field Service EngineersComprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) retirement savings planPaid time off and company holidaysEducation assistanceOngoing technical and professional developmentOutstanding long-term career growth with a stable and respected organizationWhy This Opportunity?This is an opportunity to join a company that values technical expertise and invests in its people.
