Press Brake Operator

DescriptionMazak Corporation is hiring a Press Brake Operator to join our Fabrication Department located at our headquarters in Florence, KY. A press brake operator will form different gauges of sheet metal on CNC Press Brake to various angles and shapes. This is a second shift position. The hours for this position are M-TH 3:30pm-2am.Scope and Responsibilities:Pull parts from baskets.Correctly forming sheet metal to various degrees of bend according to blueprint specifications.Responsible for making sure all parts are in the basket according to plots and summaries.Verification that machine is in safe working condition daily.Standing for long periods of time is required.Lifting up to 50 pounds is required.Education/Certification:High school diploma or equivalent.Technical school or Vocational School diploma preferredSkills:Experience with reading and interpreting blueprints.Must have previous knowledge of protractors and gauges.CNC Machine experience is preferred.Attention to detail and precision in workSafety focused mindset is requiredExperience working independently and as part of a teamEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities
