MASSAGE THERAPIST @ REVIVAL SPA Part-Time

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Massage Therapist to join our wellness team.In this role, you will be responsible for delivering professional, therapeutic and rejuvenating massage therapies to our clients.A successful Massage Therapist must have a thorough knowledge of various massage modalities, possess excellent customer service skills and be able to communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and explain treatments.ResponsibilitiesPerform professional quality massage therapy sessionsDesign specific sessions based on client’s individual needsEnsure the comfort of clients during massagesMaintain a clean, relaxing, and comfortable environmentEducate clients about the benefits of massages as part of their overall wellness programKeep accurate records of treatments provided to clientsAdhere to all company policies and proceduresBuild relationships with clients to encourage repeat businessEducate clients on self-care practices to enhance treatment benefitsStay updated on massage therapy techniques, certifications, and industry standardsAlign services with client satisfaction and wellness goalsCommunicate treatment details and client feedback to supervisorsQualificationsProven work experience as a Massage TherapistKnowledge of various massage modalities, including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, etcExcellent customer service skillsAbility to assess client needs and preferences to provide appropriate treatmentsUnderstanding of health and wellness benefits of massage therapy uses touch and specialized techniques to relieve pain, reduce stress, and improve circulation in clients. They assess individual needs and tailor treatments to promote relaxation and physical well-being.Certification from an accredited school of massageValid state license AND/OR certification in massage therapy to practice massage therapyFamiliarity with spa or healthcare industry standards
