Overview: The Mix/Batch Maker & Packaging Line Operator is responsible for the batching, measuring, and mixing of materials, as well as the proper operation of the manufacturing equipment on the packaging line. They are responsible for ensuring company products are produced to the guidelines set by production control and/or materials engineering to meet specification conformance. Shift: 2nd shift M-F 3pm to 11:30pm overtime available Pay Rate: $18-$22/hr Responsibilities or job duties: Mix various components of the product per batch form following all instructions as detailed by sealant engineering. Verify all weights and measurements to ensure accuracy. Responsible for the efficient mixing and operation of the equipment to ensure proper batching times. Correctly complete production batch forms. Maintain work area in a clean orderly fashion informing supervisor of any equipment problems. Train others working in sealer manufacturing, as needed. Responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of paperwork, as required. Perform other tasks assigned by supervisor including operating forklifts once trained & certified. Qualifications: HS diploma/GED Valid DL E-Verify Must be able to read and write English Open to being cross trained Open to working in adverse conditions including hot/cold both indoors and outdoors and/or in inclement weather. Minimum of 3 months - 1 year of experience in batch materials production, manufacturing or related. Technical Skills: Exceptional safety awareness.
