BC or BE: Internal medicine Average 10-15 patients per day, all adults Primary Care cases, sick/well visits, some chronic care coverage like hypertension/diabetes Taking history, physical examinations, ordering of laboratories and diagnostic studies, diagnosis and formulation of treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions within the scope of practice/privileging. Order and monitor appropriate medications for patients using VA Formulary
